Sonic carnage, brutally heavy, dense, cutting-edge, powerful, sharp, sub-driven heavy metal bass innovation... are attempts to describe the sensation that Broken Note delivers. After four long years full of live shows and a lot of musical experimentation, we have managed to bring this massive force to SUBLAND, a place truly worthy to present the long-awaited "Black Mirror EP", which turns out to be exactly the record that any Broken Note fan has been waiting and asking for.

HellDrop presents Ruby My Dear @ Subland, 18.04.2013

Ruby My Dear, Breakcore-Genie bei Ad Noiseam und dem großartigen französischen Peace Off Label, spielt zum ersten Mal in 2013 live in Deutschland und zum ersten Mal im SUBLAND, das für den massiven Bassdruck seines speziell angefertigten Soundsystems berühmt (wenn nicht sogar berüchtigt) ist.

Nach einem atemberaubenden Auftritt im Berghain im Jahr 2012 kehrt Ruby nach Berlin zurück, um alle Liebhaber des melodischen, experimentellen Breakcore mit Sounds zu beglücken, die ihresgleichen suchen. Ruby wird bisweilen als "der neue Aphex Twin" bezeichnet - ein Vergleich, den er keinesfalls scheuen muss. Der französische Komponist verbindet traumhafte, atmosphärische Klänge mit rhythmisch scharfen, extrem komplexen Breakcore-Elementen. Er entführt den Hörer in eine Welt voller interessanter Widersprüche, und jedes Live-Set ist eine Entdeckungsreise in unbekannte Gefilden.

Präsentiert wird das Ganze von HellDrop, einer kleinen aber engagierten Crew, die sich die Verbreitung harter und / oder experimenteller Musik auf die Fahnen geschrieben haben. Nach monatlichen Parties 2012 haben sie die Frequenz etwas zurück gefahren, und kehren nun mit Rubys Unterstützung auf die Bildfläche zurück. HellDrop, Ad Noiseam und Subland präsentieren:

Ruby My Dear, Breakcore genius with Ad Noiseam and the remarkable French Peace Off Label, will play in Berlin for the first time in 2013, and for the first time at SUBLAND, a club known (even infamous) for its extremely bass-heavy, custom-made soundsystem.

After a breathtaking performance in Berghain last year, Ruby returns to Berlin, to delight lovers of melodic, experimental breakcore with unrivalled sounds. He is sometimes called „The new Aphex Twin"  – a comparison he definitely stands up to. The French composer combines dreamy, atmospheric sounds with rhythmically distinct, extremely complex breakcore elements. Ruby is taking the listeners into a world of interesting contradictions, and each live set is a journey into unknown terrain.

All of this is presented by HellDrop  a small but dedicated crew, whose mission it is to spread hard and / or experimental music. After monthly parties in 2012 they slightly reduced the pace and are now, supported by Ruby, returning to the stage. HellDrop, Ad Noiseam and Subland proudly present: RUBY MY DEAR!
