The perverted, extreme and forceful sound of audio deviants Richie Anderson and Brandon Spivey... These audio hooligans are based in the North of England and have been making hard acid and disrespectful techno since 1993.
Spivey & Anderson have had releases on labels such as Alien Reign, Kill Out, Drop Bass Network, Epsilon, Deadly Systems, 666, Toolbox, have appeared on the early Spiral Tribe mixtapes (sp23k) etc... They have been working under names such as Prole Synthesis/Asymetric/Wah Wah/Agro/Acab/Collective Strength.
When we asked Brandon and Richie, they described their music as fucked up acid and techno and truly they have done their best to follow their own course, doing what is instinctive to them.

MATT GREEN
Growing up in the London borough of Hackney, Matt Green was quickly infected by the Electro and Hip-hop hitting the alternative alleys of the nineties.
He bought his first sampler (at the age of 12!), started creating and later on, everything fell into place: In 1996, Matt released his first EP. He then quickly got the chance to release several guest EPs on labels such as Epileptik, Hong Kong Violence and many more.
With a respected list of past performances, including sets at Hellraiser, Darkness4life and the r_AW event, Matt Green continues his hardcore battle on stage. Strength and intensity are just a couple of words describing the waves that bleed from Matt Greens' live-sets. To the loyal follower, his sound is always recognizable, with an ever going need to push the distinct Matt Green sound forward.

Coexsystems from Germany has been part of the Techno scene since 1994. He is founder of the vinyl label Audio Riots and the Acidcore broadcast Fucked Up!
Furthermore, he is co-founder of the vinyl label E.A.R and co-organisator of the Ground Zero event.
His tracks have been released on labels like Holzplatten, Narcosis, Special Weapons, Analogate, Photon Emissions, E.A.R and Audio Riots.
To reach the purest form of Acidcore he works in the studio as well as live with hardware equipment such as Roland TR-909/TB-303/FR-777/DSI Evolver.

Manages to remain something of an enigma within the electro scene despite DJ performances at the legendary ORBIT (UK), FUTURE PAST and DARKSIDE parties.
Little is known about this producer. His releases on BUNKER and SOLAR ONE caused reviewers to speculate about his identity, whilst raving about his tracks. An extreme electro blast using powerful, raw baselines with extreme electrical currents, contorting melodies and twisted harmonies cause dancefloors to disintegrate. Lose yourself in cinematic atmospheres and robotic cold paranoia, as the convulsive treatment is administered by the inhumane sounds of Q-Chip, in this rare public appearance.

ZIM got hooked on the drum-n-bass virus when he lived in Warsaw. Later on he started DNB evenings in Bamberg, Germany, to bring some action to the town that had been lacking proper bass music for so long. He then moved to Berlin in 2011 and teamed up with Beatxo to form HellDrop, where he's in charge of all booking inquiries, all wording, and overall HellDrop administration.

Andere Leute machen Boom-Music, wir sagen: Oyaarss macht DOOM-Music! Seine Stücke sind düster, ergreifend, verstörend und gleichzeitig so einnehmend, dass man einfach genau dort stehen will, wo der Bassdruck am höchsten ist. Die Ausmaße der Musik des Letten, der auch eine zeitlang in unserem geliebten Berlin ein Zuhause gefunden hatte, werden in den Live-Aufnahmen nur unzureichend deutlich. Selbst für Oyaarss-Kenner bleibt der Name ein Mysterium in Sachen Aussprache und Bedeutung (für uns zumindest...), und genau so undefinierbar ist auch seine Musik.
Der Titel seines zweiten Albums, "Smaida Greizi Nakamiba" ("The Future Smiles Wryly" - in etwa: "Die Zukunft grinst schief") verheißt eine unvorhersehbare, ja sogar unberechenbare Zukunft.
"Oyaarss's music sings the tune of decay and rust", ist auf der Ad Noiseam Website bzgl. "Smaida Greizi Nakamiba" zu lesen. Es kann kaum einen besseren Ort als das SUBLAND geben, um sich genau diesen düsteren, sub-bass-lastigen Klängen zu widmen. Stop by, listen and FEEL for yourself...

...war erst vor kurzem auf dem großartigen Freakwenz Fest zu hören und hat dort ordentlich die Hütte abgerissen. "He rinsed it", so ist es uns zu Ohren gekommen. Nichts weniger wird euch am Freitag dem 13. (Juni) erwarten, wenn Kettle eines seiner hochexplosiven Live-Sets zum Besten gibt. Breakcore und Musik mit Bass, die sich nirgends so richtig einordnen lässt. Wer Electric Kettle bisher noch nicht kennt, hat allerhöchsten Nachholbedarf. Außerdem hat er ne interessante Website und die Praxis Records Seite ist sowieso immer einen Besuch wert:

SKARE
sKare hat sich zuerst als talentierter Beatboxer einen Namen gemacht, bevor er hinter die Wheels of Steel gestiegen ist. Als Teil der berüchtigten Antibling Promassive Crew hat er schon in zahlreichen Clubs von Berlin bis Paris aufgelegt und dabei Künstler wie Benga, Doctor P oder die Bulldogs supported - und natürlich hat er auch gemeinsam mit Berliner Größen wie Curt Cocain, Phantom Warrior, Nilow und Luc Masera hinter den Decks gestanden. Sein Style bewegt sich irgendwo zwischen Dubstep, Drumstep und Rave - mal sehen, was er am Freitag dem 13. für uns bereit halten wird!
GORY MEASURE
Bei
Herrn Measure vom Subotnik Kombinat drückt der Name eigentlich schon
aus, was den geneigten Basshead in Sachen auf-die-Mütze erwartet. Gory
Measure produziert und spielt "highly energetic music for up-front
people", die sich grob in Richtung Hard DnB, Darkstep und Tearout
verorten lässt. Erst vor kurzem war er in der Powergrid Radio Show auf dirtybass.fm
zu hören und ist außerdem regelmäßig in Lauschi, dem Köpi Keller und
anderen dunklen Ecken zu finden. Mir bleibt nur noch zu sagen: "Turn the
music loud and mosh hard!"
MEAD
Aaron stammt ursprünglich aus Cardiff, UK und hat dort seine Liebe für Drum-n-Bass entwickelt. Neuro-lastige Beats mischen sich mit experimentellen Sounds von Dabs bis Stray, immer mit dem richtigen Vibe, um die Crowd zum Abgehen zu bringen. In und um Cardiff hat er u.a. Dub Phizix, Alix Perez, Foreign Concept und Kasra supported. Außerdem hat er die beste Soundcloud-Adresse der Welt, findet der Autor dieses Texts. Big up DJ Mead!

Deepe Sounds mit Sub-Bass, der dir die Lungenflügel zusammendrückt. Fette Remixe für diesen Tua, außerdem Tracks mit Shu, Cop Dickie, SiC, Vasee, Niels Binias uvm. Hat mittlerweile schon drei Tracks auf Chimperator veröffentlicht und lässt sich glücklicherweise nicht in seinen Shit reinreden. Audhentik stellt monatlich einen Podcast zur Verfügung mit Mucke, die ihm gefällt. Von Electronica irgendwo um die 140 bpm herum, über Future Garage bis Drum-n-Bass spiegeln die Aufnahmen seine musikalische Vielfalt wider. Wird auf dem zweiten Floor ab 4 Uhr für das Alternativprogramm sorgen, während Electric Kettle, Gory Measure und Beatxo im Main Floor das Tempo nach oben schrauben.
BEATXO
Der Wahl-Berliner und Black-Metal-Fan aus Bogota, Kolumbien, liebt Doublebass, Breakcore und Hardcore Drum-n-Bass. Wenn Beatxo seine Platten auspackt ist das so ähnlich, wie wenn du Danny Trejos Mutter beleidigst - es wird verdammt hart was auf die Fresse geben. Wahrscheinlich spielt er wieder ganz am Ende, um allen, die es lange genug durchhalten, nochmal eine ordentliche Ladung Bass-Brutalität zu verpassen.
ZIM
Obwohl er eine Hälfte von HellDrop ist und damit für Hardcore Drum-n-Bass, Crossbreed und Härteres steht, lässt sich ZIM ungern festlegen. Je nach Laune wechselt er Genres und Styles, bewegt sich dabei aber meistens irgendwo zwischen 130 und 190 bpm. Er wird auf dem zweiten Floor anzutreffen sein und dort gemeinsam mit Stert und Mead Platten und Knöpfe drehen.
